About us

Guilsfield WI was formed in May 1928 so we will be celebrating our 95th anniversary this year, 2023.

We meet at 7.30 pm in Guilsfield Old School on the second Tuesday of each month, except for August when we usually have a social activity such as a local visit or a garden meeting.  The competition each month is "A bloom from my garden", we have a raffle and serve tea/coffee and biscuits.

We have a group of members who enjoy walking together and we also have a Craft & Chat Group who sometimes meet in someone's house or sometimes in the cafe at the Derwen Garden Centre.  The group is currently (January) planning the making of green hearts with children from the local primary school for the Show the Love campaign.

March 14th 2023 - Victoria Graham's talk is intriguingly entitled "The Biscuit Club" - but it's not about biscuits!

April 11th 2023 - will be a Getting to Know You session with photos of our younger selves along with facts which may surprise.
