CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR BREAK

THE OFFICE WILL CLOSE 3pm on FRI 22nd Dec

and RE-OPEN 11am FRI 5th Jan, 2024.

MESSAGE FROM THE FEDERATION CHAIRMAN:

Geraldine Russell-Jones

Hello Everyone,

Now we are in the run-up to Christmas – always a busy and exciting time. We have taken a chance at winning one
of the many eye-catching prizes at Bingo, indulged in some retail therapy in Llandudno and, hopefully, garnered some ideas for
Christmas gifts, as well as learning some relevant skills at the ‘Welcome to Christmas’ event. Those of us who went on the
‘Turkey and Tinsel’ will have been well-immersed in the Christmas spirit already. After such a busy month – time to relax.
Come and take part in our annual Carol Service in Welshpool on 4th Dec. Bring a friend.
As usual, there will be mince pies and tea or coffee afterwards.
By now, you should have had your annual meetings and I hope that all officers (new and old!) are settling in happily. I’m sure that
you are aware that every help possible is available and, to this end, would welcome you to attend the  Officers’ Training Day at
Abermule on Sat 27th Jan, where there is an opportunity to discuss your role.
I must pass on congratulations to Llwydiarth WI which celebrated its 90th Anniversary this year and thank their members for their
generous hospitality to some lucky Board Members, present and past, who were regaled with a delicious tea and songs.
The Board of Trustees join me in wishing you a peaceful and happy Christmas.

Best wishes/Cofion gorau,     Geraldine  Now read on…………..
